What Have You Learned This Year?

As a final wrap-up to this year, I felt it would be fitting for each student to post a summary of their learning experiences (good and bad). In addition to my own students responding to their classmates, I invite our New Zealand friends to read and respond to the postings, as well.

I was the one who wanted to know if New Zealand had a national football team, which is known as soccer in the United States.

When we first started to blog with you guys we learned that the kiwi is the national bird. When we went to stokes one of the good things is that i learned that a female black bear is bigger the a male black bear and one of the bad things was when all the girls were afraid of pigman so they all shared a bed with someone. This year we made viedos and sent them to eachother and we told eachother our screen names. If you want you can go to my blog at broadwaygrl.blogspot.com!

This year I learnrd about New Zelend and that they live on an island.Their bird is caled the Kiwi Bird.In school we read a story called Carlos and the Skunk. At the end of it there was a salasa recipe. We had a compatition with another class. We used a restraunts recipe to win and we did.I also learned about adding and subtracting fractions. That was weird. In fitht grade you go Stokes a camping place that you stay for 3 days 2 nights.FUN. He told the story PIGMAN.Scariest story ever. Everyone was soooooo scares and couldnt go to sleep. But Stokes was sooooooo much fun and i wanna go back.We learned so much but it was in a fun way.I learned sooooo much more but i cant explain everything.

What did I learn in the 5th grade, I learned how to make a blog and now I have one[chatspot88.blogspot.com].It was fun to learn about art, in art class we used so many things that I ever heard of like pastels. I liked haveing a locker, it was hard to remember my locker combonation. It was very hard for me to learn fraction, but I got it! we read a story in our reading text book [Rip Van Winkel] I was Dame Van Winkel a nagging wife of Rip Van Winkel.
The trip to Stokes State Forest their was a lot to learn there, like back in the day people made hooks on anivls, and black bears are less harmful than grizzily bears!

P.S. i am the one who asked if you had a field day

In the 2007 - 2008 school year I have learned a lot of things. In Mr. Cam's Language Arts class we learned punctuation differint sentences. I had Mr.Cam as my homeroom teacher. Then we had Mr.Teehan as Social Studies. We learned about different wars. Our class always had question or didn't get something. Then we had Miss Maiorella for science. We learned about plants gravity Newtons first law. That was about gravity. Then we had Mrs.Hess for Math. We learned about multiplying. It was fun.We had a funny class. Then the schedule changed. Everybody got switched to a different class or stayed in the same homeroom class.

This year we read a book in school called Carlos and the skunk. At the back of the story there was a salsa recpie. Mr.Cammarano's class was going to make it soooooo we decided to make it too. I became a compititiion. I asked my mom if she had a salsa recipe. She works at a resturaunt. And she got the recipe and our class won.
This year I went to STOKES. We heard the PIGMAN story. DUN DUN DUN DUNNNNNNNNNNNNNN. Mr.Teehan scared me to DEATH!!!!!!!!!!:( Something I didn't like was learning how to divide. Also I didn't like a touch of nature. I didn't like it because I hate snakes and the guy showed about 5 snakes in a row. I was almost crying. Right now, we are learning about the holocost. Mr.Teehan showed us a really really scary power point. He is also reading a book called Number the Stars.

This school year was very interesting. We had lockers, which was cool. In the middle of the year we changed the schedule from a 4 day schedule with different teachers for each subject. Now we have a 5 day schedule with your hr teacher for almost everything. Personally, i enjoyed the first schedule, even though it was a little more difficult. I very much enjoyed working with the kids from new zealand, so to keep in touch with them i made a blog. Please go tho http://anonymousbob.blogspot.com. pleas post, comment and give some ideas and tips to improove my blog and make it eassier to talk with the kids in new zealand.

As I was saying in Lal we're learning or learned posecive, interogitive, and exclamitory (sorry if all the words aren't spelled correctly). All the other stuff is just multiplying, adding fractions, and alot of textbooks. I think you wanna hear about stokes though. So we heard the story of PIG MAN. The intence story of a hobo. It was scary.
Also look at my blog which isn't completed
